Mediadores.es launches to certify in five minutes the pre-court settlement attempt required by Organic Law 1/2025
Mediadores.es automates the out-of-court settlement attempt of Organic Law 1/2025 with eIDAS certified delivery: 110 euros per case, ministry mediators.

Organic Law 1/2025 turned the out-of-court settlement attempt into a condition of admissibility for most civil and commercial claims. What it did not bring was the infrastructure to prove it: no public registry of attempts, no official form, no state channel. Into that practical gap comes Mediadores.es, a platform promising to compress to five minutes the drafting and certified delivery of the formal proposal, versus the weeks of analogue handling.
The bottleneck, measured
The barrier is not theoretical. According to the first study on the law's impact, prepared by the Madrid Bar Association (ICAM) in December 2025 among 1,164 lawyers, 49.3% of professionals report serious difficulties certifying the out-of-court attempt before the courts, and 71.7% denounce the disparity of criteria among courts when validating the supporting documents. The evidentiary standard has hardened: alleging a negotiating disposition is no longer enough; documentary evidence with traceability and technical immutability is required.
What the tool does
The design separates strategy from bureaucracy. "The lawyer safeguards the strategy; the platform takes on the bureaucracy," sums up Federico Cadenas, the company's chief executive and a jurist with more than three decades of practice. The professional drafts the proposal and the platform handles notifications and follow-up.
The technical pillar is traceability: communications are sent by certified electronic delivery under the European eIDAS Regulation, with an auditable record fixing sender, recipient, date, exact time and confirmation of access to content. Every step carries qualified time-stamping. If the counterparty rejects the proposal or stays silent for the 30 days set by law, the system issues the official certificate of failed attempt; if it accepts, the matter moves to a formal mediation procedure, in person or online, with a mediator registered in the Ministry of Justice registry.
From request to certificate, step by step
The workflow, as the company describes it, follows a closed path. The lawyer or individual registers the case, drafts the settlement proposal and the platform sends it by certified channel to the counterparty, which has the legal deadline to accept, reject or stay silent. Every event is sealed: sending, receipt, access to content and response. The final result, whether there is negotiation or not, is a complete evidentiary file usable at trial.
That file is, in reality, the product being sold. Not the mediation, which may never happen, but the documentary proof that unblocks the claim when the court examines admissibility.
Closed pricing and clients beyond law firms
The economic model applies closed costs, independent of the amount claimed: opening the procedure costs 110 euros (plus VAT) for one recipient and 150 euros for multiple-party summonses, with fixed rates if mediation follows. Although law firms are the natural client, the platform extends the service to property managers, large companies and individuals. In lower-value civil disputes where neither lawyer nor court agent is required but the prior attempt is, the digital environment integrates guided forms and a knowledge centre with guides, FAQs and videos.
A reading for the market
Mediadores.es exemplifies the second wave of Spanish legaltech: not promising AI that drafts, but solving a specific procedural point the reform left without operational support. Its trajectory will depend on two factors: uniform judicial acceptance of its certificates — the 71.7% criterion disparity in the ICAM study plays against any private standard — and the ability to scale a per-case service in a market where volume will be set by consumer and payment claims.
