The Cádiz Bar Association has enabled free access for its members to the courses of the Sepín Legal Classroom (Aula Jurídica de Sepín), according to circular 136/2026, published on 20 October. The benefit is activated through the Sepín Digital Library on the bar's website, and gives free access to a catalogue that, on the provider's general channels, carries an enrolment fee.

How to access

The procedure has three steps: go to www.icadiz.org and enter the Library section, then the Sepín Digital Library; register or log in with your Sepín account; and, once identified, access the Aula Jurídica menu to browse the available courses.

The circular stresses one point that conditions the free access: you must always enter through the link on the bar's website. If you go directly through the Sepín platform, the courses appear at their ordinary price and the charge is not the bar's responsibility.

A practice-oriented catalogue

The first batch of sessions highlighted by the bar gives an idea of the catalogue's profile: procedural issues in consumer law, with special reference to appropriate dispute resolution mechanisms and article 439 bis of the Civil Procedure Act, by Miguel Guerra Pérez, director of Sepín Proceso Civil; leases and evictions after Royal Decree-Law 29/2026, with Alberto Torres López, Sepín's legal director, and Samuel de Huerta Hernández, director of Sepín Asesor Fiscal; and new developments in working conditions and contracting after Royal Decree 723/2026, with Fernando Sicre Gilabert, doctor in Economics and Law and Labour and Social Security inspector.

These are short sessions, from one to three hours, focused on recent legislation and designed for immediate application in practice. On RDL 29/2026 and its new rules on seasonal rentals and eviction protection, we publish today an analysis of its keys for legal advice.

What the Sepín Legal Classroom is

The Aula Jurídica is the training platform of Sepín, a publisher specialised in practical legal information. Its catalogue is structured around short, monographic courses taught by practising professionals (lawyers, labour inspectors, registrars, prosecutors), usually built around recently enacted rules or procedural issues with a high impact on daily practice. That approach explains why speakers stand out for their technical rather than academic profiles: the declared goal is that attendees can apply what they learn in their next matter.

The collaboration with the Cádiz bar brings this catalogue within the bar's member services, so lawyers access it with the same credentials they already use for the rest of their bar's digital resources. Other bar associations across Spain maintain similar agreements with training providers, so it is worth checking the training section of your own bar's website before paying for a course elsewhere.

An undervalued benefit

Agreements between bar associations and training providers rarely make the news, but their practical impact is considerable: for a member who stays current with two or three courses a year, the annual saving can comfortably exceed the bar membership fee. Accredited training also counts, in many cases, towards access to bar specialisations and duty-scheme rosters.

The practical advice is to check the catalogue frequently, because sessions are announced only a few days in advance and some have limited capacity, and to keep attendance certificates systematically.
