Auren has incorporated in Murcia the audit team led by Ramón Madrid Nicolás, from BNFIX Auditores. The integration comprises three partners and 18 professionals with experience in statutory audit and business advisory, and expands the firm's capabilities in the Murcian market, according to Lawyerpress.

Four partners leading the practice

Ramón Madrid Nicolás, Francisco Javier Meseguer Espinosa and Ramón Madrid Martínez join as partners of the Audit division and, together with Francisco Miró, will form a four-partner team leading this practice in the Region of Murcia.

The incoming professionals work for both private companies and public-sector entities. Their activity includes statutory audit, grant reviews and expert reports, with experience in sectors such as agri-food, industry, construction, transport and services.

Forensic economics and teaching

Ramón Madrid Nicolás holds a degree in Economics and Business from the University of Valencia, has several decades of audit experience, has chaired BNFIX and has held the deanship of the Murcia Region College of Economists since 2008, according to information provided by Auren.

Francisco Javier Meseguer Espinosa, an economics graduate of the University of Murcia and an auditor registered with the Official Register of Auditors, brings experience in group audit and accounting consolidation, as well as insolvency administration, forensic economics, expert reports and economic-financial viability analysis. He combines his practice with teaching as an associate professor at Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia. Ramón Madrid Martínez, a business administration graduate of the University of Murcia, has developed his audit career since 2012.

Growth through team integration

"We add experience, specialisation and knowledge of the Murcian market," said Mario Alonso, president of Auren Spain, who places the operation within the firm's strategy of growth through the incorporation of professional teams. Madrid Nicolás underlines continuity with clients: "We will keep working with the same professionals and maintaining the closeness and trust that has always characterised us."

The operation will allow the new team to collaborate with the firm's Legal, Consulting and Corporate areas, an increasingly common multidisciplinary integration in the sector, as shown by the people consultancy launched by Abdón Pedrajas Littler or the mergers between regional firms such as García Carbonell.

Strengthening the territorial presence

Auren has offices in Murcia and Cartagena and places its regional team at around 60 professionals, active in the Legal and Audit divisions. The integration is part of its strategy of territorial growth through the incorporation of specialised teams with knowledge of their respective markets. In Spain, the firm has more than 1,100 employees and 15 offices, according to its corporate figures.
