ICAM's Abogacía 360: seven practical courses for young lawyers, with dates and discounts
The Madrid Bar Association has launched a programme of seven independent courses on finance, professional brand, M&A, argumentation, firm management and litigation. We gather the dates and conditions published by the bar association.
The Illustrious Madrid Bar Association (ICAM) has launched Abogacía 360, a training programme for its youngest members. According to the note published by the bar association itself on 21 September 2026, it consists of seven independent practical courses, so that each person can sign up only for those that interest them. The initiative is promoted through Abogacía Joven ICAM and the bar association's Study Centre.
The stated aim is to narrow the gap between academic training and what the legal market asks for: financial and business vision, persuasive communication, procedural strategy, personal brand and firm management. These are the details in the official information.
The seven courses and their dates
All sessions given by the bar association run from 10:00 to 14:00.
- Practical finance for legal professionals: accounting, investments and wealth management. 15 to 22 October 2026, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- Design your career path, brand and positioning. Wednesday 21 October 2026.
- Practical introduction to due diligence in M&A transactions. Monday 26, Wednesday 28 and Friday 30 October 2026.
- Legal argumentation and persuasion: convincing in and out of court. Tuesday 3, Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 November 2026.
- From lawyer to business owner: keys to running a profitable firm. Thursday 12 and Tuesday 17 November 2026.
- Practical criminal litigation course: strategy and procedural tools. Monday 23 and Wednesday 25 November 2026.
- Practical civil and administrative litigation course. Tuesday 15 and Thursday 17 December 2026.
Discounts for young members
ICAM states two discounts depending on seniority at the bar association:
- 25% for those in their first three years since first joining ICAM.
- 15% for those with between three and five years of seniority.

How to choose among the seven
As the courses are independent, it is wise to decide according to your professional stage:
- If you are starting out on your own account, the finance and firm management courses cover topics the law degree tends to cover little: basic accounting, investment, profitability.
- If you work at a transactions firm or aspire to, the M&A due diligence course is a practical three-session introduction.
- If you litigate, there are two practical litigation courses, one criminal and one civil and administrative, with dates weeks apart.
- If you want to position yourself, the course on career path, brand and positioning is the shortest: a single four-hour session.
The dates overlap little, so it is possible to take several. Before paying, check that the morning schedule is compatible with your court appearances.
