Legal job offers: selection of 21 October 2026 for lawyers and paralegals

Today's highlights

Three additions compared to yesterday's selection, all three in in-house legal departments: Electronic Arts is looking for a legal counsel for its Madrid office, Encavis has published a renewable energy contracts counsel position (PPA and hedging) in Madrid and Titan OS is looking for a data protection and adtech legal counsel in Barcelona. Also still open is the Real Estate lawyer position at ECIJA in Madrid published on the firm's careers site.

A quick read of the market this week

Two patterns persist in recent days' selections and a third joins them. The demand for labour lawyers continues (with open positions in Madrid, Valencia and Gipuzkoa for different levels of seniority), as does Madrid's weight in the big firms. And in-house legal departments join in: three of today's eleven positions are legal counsel roles in companies, a sign that internal legal departments keep hiring specialised profiles, from renewable energy to data protection.

There is also room for non-qualified profiles: paralegal and legal assistant positions appear every week in large and mid-size firms, and are a usual entry route into the sector for graduates not yet admitted to the bar.

Practical tips before applying

1. Always enter through the original link. The company's page lists the full requirements and the current selection process.
2. Check the date. Some positions have been open for weeks; it is worth checking whether the company is still accepting applications.
3. Adapt your CV to the area. This week's labour, real estate and in-house positions ask for specific practice experience, not just a degree.
4. Watch the bar job boards. If you are a member, your bar association's job board publishes offers from local firms that do not always reach the generalist portals.
