Bilbao will host a free event on 19 November bringing together two questions: how courts respond to workplace harassment and what technology can contribute to prevention. The Basque Observatory on Harassment and Discrimination is organising it.
Attendance details
The event runs from 9:15 to 13:50 at the Bizkaia Bar Association, Rampas de Uribitarte 3. Both in-person attendance and online viewing require prior registration.
Beatriz García Celaá will present the third edition of the Observatory's study on psychosocial risks and harassment before Spanish courts. The research examines proceedings involving claims about those risks, rather than simply searching judgments for words.
Cristóbal Molina Navarrete will open the discussion of digitalisation's challenges. The programme then includes a prevention experience using virtual reality and a debate on the benefits and limits of these tools. Representatives from the judiciary, Labour Inspectorate, universities and administration will participate.
The study will be presented at the event: the announcement does not provide results figures that have not yet been released.
